The 28 Day Meditation Challenge Shares The Insider Secrets That Make It Easy For You
It took me 20 years to learn to meditate.
Yup.
I read books. I took classes. I went on uber-expensive retreats and workshops, spending thousands and thousands of pounds. I contemplated my navel from every posible perspective, but still I didn’t have a daily meditation habit. And – what’s even worse – after the first 15 years, I realised I hadn’t even meditated at all. I had been being taught deep relaxation and guided visualisation, but they’re very different beasts from actually meditating.
I wanted to feel calmer, happier, less stressed, less anxious, more at peace, more in flow, more connected, less worried, less negative, more confident and to generally fall in love with life.
20 years. I’m not kidding.
Then, one day, while I was formally training to become a Meditation Teacher, I had one of those life-changing light bulb moments. I realised two insider secrets that made everything fall into place. They suddenly made it all so simple and easy.
And that’s what I’m sharing with you, as part of the 28 Day Meditation Challenge.
Interested? Want to cut your journey from 20 years to just 28 days? 🙂
Sure, I can teach you how to meditate…
Of course – that’s what you’d expect!
But there’s more:
- I also make it easy for you to create the habit
(the ‘missing link’ on most meditation courses), with an inspired blend of NLP (the ‘user manual for your brain’) and light-hearted common sense.
- And I help you to get over your old excuses – so you actually find the time to meditate – and do it!
You get all of this in bite-sized chunks, throughout the 28 days – and beyond. (Each day’s message takes just a few minutes to read, but could make a huge difference for you.)
- And the 28 Day Meditation Challenge has helped so many people change their lives, that I know it will help you get great results, no matter how busy or stressed you are!
It pre-empts where you might otherwise fall off the wagon and gives you what you need most, just before you need it!
The great news is:
That it really isn’t so hard, when you know how (and that’s exactly what I’ll be sharing with you). 🙂
5 minutes a day for your daily message and then listen to the MP3 for 10 minutes, as you meditate.
That’s it. Life changed. Big smiles all round! Woo hoo! 🙂
Pssst! It’s even easier than that – in this course I share the secrets for how to find the time, how to get started and how to stay motivated. What more could you want?!
All you need to do is to choose – to choose to make a commitment to yourself today that the ‘future you’ will thank you for.

Whatever your reason for learning to meditate (and feel free to share via the comments to this page: “I want to learn to meditate, because…!), there are two steps to the process:
- Learn the nuts and bolts of how to meditate
- Figure out how to create the habit
and
Most courses and classes concentrate on step 1 – the ‘how’. But here’s where the first insider-secret comes in:
Insider Secret #1:
I realised that in 20 years of studying meditation I had never actually meditated.
Whether it was twisting my legs into a pretzel or having to take on new beliefs, it was all about doing what I was told and every one of the teachers had their own prescription for what was necessary. But most of them weren’t actually teaching meditation.
It seemed to be all about drifting off to ‘somewhere lovely’ ~ but this wasn’t really meditation. It was a form of very relaxing and fairly enjoyable escapism, instead.
There’s nothing wrong with that, but that kind of ‘meditating’ wasn’t getting me to that happier, calmer inner-peace-type place I wanted to be living. Instead, it was allowing me to temporarily escape the stress and worry, but it wasn’t changing me, at any deep level. It wasn’t helping me to feel less stressed or calmer, outside of the meditation time.
It’s a pattern I have seen with my meditation students, over the past years, if they have done lots of meditation before coming to my workshops. Most of them had been taught that meditating is about ‘escaping’ and ‘disconnecting’ and ‘going to a special place’ – anywhere but here and now.
It was only once I started to formally train to become a meditation teacher that I realised I had never meditated before.
As I studied how to teach it, I realised that meditation isn’t about escaping from what’s ‘here’ and disconnecting from your physical experience.
It’s about opening your heart to living in this present moment – with full acceptance and awareness – so you can set yourself free from the stories your Monkey Mind has been telling you and reconnect with the essense of who you really are, with a big fat grin on your face. 🙂
That sense of stillness and peace that carries you through your day… Mmmmm! Delicious! 🙂
That’s when meditation can help you to feel calmer, happier, less stressed, less anxious, more at peace, more in flow, more connected, less worried, less negative, more confident and to generally fall in love with life – during your meditation and beyond.
And it’s much easier than you might think ~ when you know what works for you.
Insider Secret #2:
The second insider-secret I realised that day was that no one had suggested ways to actually create the meditation habit.
Sure, books and gurus had told me I ‘had to‘ meditate for at least an hour, ideally every day, and that I ‘should‘ do it first thing in the morning (and, er, who’s going to get the kids to school?! 😉 ). But the stuff I was being taught only seemed to work for yogis living in caves, monks in monasteries and people who had a huge amount of free time.
Woah! Did I learn to beat myself up over all of that – big time?!
But – woo hoo – as soon as I set myself free from the ‘shoulds’ and ‘have tos’, I was able to experience how even 10 minutes a day could make a massive difference.
Imagine this: what matters is how often you meditate. Daily for ten minutes will shift your life much faster than once a week for an hour – or once a year for a week.
Doesn’t that sound much more achievable?
So I decided to apply my expertise in ‘Practical Psychology’, from over a decade of being an NLP Trainer, along with my background in common sense, as a reformed mechanical engineer :-), to figure out how to create that daily habit.
And it made all the difference.
The 28 Day Meditation Challenge helps you to:
- Learn how to meditate ~ by figuring out what works for you
and…- Discover how to actually create that non-negotiable daily habit, to get past fears, excuses, limiting beliefs and lack of time, to transform your life.
And, as a busy mum of 3 youngs boys, along with writing books, leading workshops, running a small farm and healing centre and occasionally even getting time to have a cup of tea, I know how challenging it can be to find the time and energy to start a new habit.
So I’m passionate about making the journey as easy and fun as possible for you. It is my honour to get to walk alongside you, wherever it is you want this journey to take you, if that’s what you choose.
Why do you want to learn to meditate?
I’m curious: why do you want to learn to meditate? (You must have landed on this page for some reason?!)
What is it you’re looking for?
What is it you need most, right now…?
And is that worth ten minutes a day of your time?
I’m wondering ~ bear with me on this one ~ what the ‘you’ on your 80th birthday might advise…? Would they tell you to carry on as things are? Or might they tell you that taking the time to reconnect with who you really are was one of the wisest choices you ever made?
Will you make that commitment to yourself; that investment in your future?
To be honest, if not, that’s cool – but there’s no need to keep reading this page. But you might like to get my Soul-Sized Living newsletter instead. 😉
If yes, woo hooo!!!! Happy Dance!

Need to know more, before you dive in?
The 28 day meditation challenge’s approach is unique.
It’s about much more than just meditation!
Of course, it guides, step by step, through the essentials of how to meditate, just as you would expect from a course created by a formally-trained, experienced meditation teacher.
But I’m going to help you go further than that – sharing my decades of psychology & NLP expertise (certified NLP Trainer).
In this inspirational, down-to-earth programme, the 28 Day Meditation Challenge takes you on a powerful journey to free yourself from old excuses, negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs, to enjoy the many scientifically-proven benefits of meditation, no matter how busy your life is.
Drawing from various ancient spiritual traditions, as well as powerful life-changing techniques and practical wisdom, this interactive online course has the potential to transform your experience of life – all served up with an upbeat tone, plenty of encouragement and a dollop of humour!
What You Get
During the 28 days, you will be guided through four styles of meditation, which progressively help you to lay the foundations for your meditation practice.
The daily messages pre-empt and help you handle the most common pitfalls & mistakes that would usually stop people from creating a meditation habit.
They can also inspire you with practical techniques to deal with stress, worry and emotions in other areas of your life, even when you’re not meditating.
The 28 Day Meditation Challenge is split into four sections:
- Week One brings you a breath awareness meditation.
The daily messages cover busting the #1 meditation myth, how to sit comfortably to meditate, handling your meditation excuses, how to ‘magically’ find more time and how to keep the momentum going.
- Week Two takes you into the realm of making friends with your ‘Monkey Mind‘.
You’ll discover some of the tricks it can play and how you can reclaim control, without turning things into a war. The daily messages cover how to stop others from stealing your meditation time and how to get over an addiction to putting your ‘to do’ list, plus Clare shares insider secrets to fast-track creating any new habit and getting past the ‘meditation hump’.
- Week Three brings you practical mindfulness meditation techniques that can transform your experience of life.
The daily messages include giving you a magic wand to deal with worrying, spilling the beans on how wiggling your butt can help you meditate (really!) and sharing strategies for what to do if meditation stirs that old emotional pot.
- Week Four moves into gentle mantra meditation, to help you make subtle, yet profound, changes in your life.
The daily messages tip you off about the most dangerous word a beginner can use, two little words that could change your life, how to tell whether you’re ‘actually meditating’, how to find the time you need, creating a special meditation space and ideas to help you continue with your meditation journey.
Being told how to meditate is rarely enough.
Millions of people, over the years, have found that being told how to meditate isn’t enough. You need help to create the habit, too.
Past students on the 28 Day Meditation Challenge have discovered the truth of this – and the fact that just 10 minutes a day can change your life.
The 28 Day Meditation Challenge has helped them to finally achieve the results they were looking for.
Just Imagine…
Whether you’re new to meditation or rekindling an old habit, imagine…
- being guided, step by step, with daily inspirational messages
- enjoying a new, tailor-made meditation each week, on MP3 or optional CD
- having access to exclusive videos, helping you avoid common meditation mistakes
- breaking through old excuses and limiting beliefs, to make change easy and lasting, with proven psychological strategies in your ‘Getting Started’ guide and daily messages
- turning your monkey mind into your friend, rather than continuing to fight and resent it
- staying motivated and feeling supported by sharing your questions and experiences with others in the members-only online forum
All this, and more, in the comfort of your own home, at times that suit you.
Are you up for it?
Want To Get Started Today?
This course is powerful, though fun and immensely rewarding. It can help you shift your experience of life, to feel happier, more calm, less stressed and more at peace. And it will lay firm foundations for any further meditation practice you choose to follow in the future. Many of the students who have done other meditation courses in the past often report that, with the 28 Day Meditation Challenge, “This time it finally worked.”
If you do the meditations and apply the techniques, then this course will work for you.
BUT: Reading the book won’t be enough to change your life. You’ll need to take action – when you feel inspired – in order to make those changes. 🙂
The 28 Day Meditation Challenge has taken over a thousand hours to create and is based on many years of teaching (and still studying!) life-changing techniques. So it’s not a ‘freebie course’.
