I woke up this morning to find a magnificent rainbow, waiting outside of my office window. And it reminded me of one of my favourite quotes about rainbows. Sometimes a simple shift in perspective is all it takes to turn things around:
“When it rains on your parade, look up, rather than down.
Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.
G. K. Chesterton
There’s always a hidden gift or a deeper meaning, in any situation in life.
I’m not trying to be ‘Pollyanna’ about it – it’s simply that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, waiting patiently for us to find it.
Sometimes it takes a very long time for us to even start to look for it – and that’s ok. There’s no rush.
But the sooner we tune our inner radar to find it, the sooner we can let go of the challenging situation and move on with life.
So I’m curious: is there a rainbow you could look for in life today? And how might things feel, once you allow yourself to find it?
Wishing you sunshine and laughter,
Namaste,
Clare
