“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within” ~ Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
We can easily spend so much time concentrating on our outer sparkle, that we forget that the true beauty lies within.
Only in times of stress or difficulty do you get to see a person’s true colours. And that’s never their make-up or their clothes – it’s something that lies much deeper within.
Yet we spend so little time cultivating that inner beauty. Why?
Our outer beauty gets attention every day, through our clothes, our hair, our possessions. Our inner beauty is about our inner peace; our inner love; that flame burning within our hearts.
When did we last pay attention to it? Do we even know how to help it grow?
Luckily the good news is that it’s simple and – unlike the latest anti-wrinkle cream – it’s free.
Every time you think a kind thought, your inner glow increases. Every time you think a destructive thought, it decreases.
So you can turn on and fan the flames of your inner beauty, one thought at a time.
