Dear %%FIRST_NAME%%,
Welcome to the Miracle Of Gratitude Inner Circle!
I’m really excited about sharing the next 100 days with you, as you discover how the miracle of gratitude can transform your experience of life.
Before we start, I’d like to clear something up.
We’re talking about ‘changing your life’ here. But that doesn’t mean it has to be scary or difficult. Quite the opposite!
My intention with this project is to weave all of my favourite insider secrets and transformational techniques from over a decade of teacher NLP (the ‘User Manual’ for your brain) and teaching meditation, mindfulness and so much more, to create a process that is enjoyable, fun and that really works for you.
If at any stage the feelings of ‘scary’ or ‘difficult’ pop up for you, that’s cool – it means you’re about to stretch a comfort zone a little bit (or maybe even a lot). If that happens, remember there’s always moral support available over at the exclusive members-only area of our online community: www.clarejosa.com/soulsizedliving/forumdisplay.php?34-The-Miracle-Of-Gratitude.
Now that’s been said, let’s crack on!
The idea behind the Miracle Of Gratitude Inner Circle is for you to spend a few minutes each day, focusing on gratitude.
I’ll be showing you all kinds of wonderful ways to weave gratitude into your daily life.
You can do it. Or you can not do it. That’s up to you.
The main thing is that you ‘get’ that this course won’t work by ‘osmosis’: if you want to see results, you’ve got to go use this stuff!
That’s why I have broken it down into bite-sized chunks – so that it’s easy for you to learn and grow, without letting you get overwhelmed.
To help you along the way, I’ll be supporting you with daily emails, to help remind you to do your chosen gratitude practice, often including an inspirational quote or motivational article, to help you stay on track. There will also be MP3s, videos, specially-designed exercises and extra resources for you to enjoy, to help you melt away any blocks or resistance.
And sometimes there will be optional meditations, deep relaxations, guided visualisations and mindfulness techniques, to help you take things to the next level.
Plus there’s the members-only community (private) and even the Facebook Page (public), where you can ask questions, share your experiences and support others who are joining in with the Miracle Of Gratitude.
Just imagine the shifts you’re going to make in your life in the coming months!
Are you ready to get started?
This week I’m keeping things really simple and easy – actually, I don’t intend things to ever get complicated or hard with this course! So here’s something you can do right now.
Week One Gratitude Project
[audio:http://]- Take a deep breath and breathe out with a sighing ‘ahhh’ sound.
This helps you to let go of tension. Repeat 3 times, if you need to, to help you relax. - Smile a gentle smile – a ‘half-smile’.
‘Half-smiling’ helps you to let go of any stresses, to rebalance your body’s sympathetic nervous system (‘fight or flight’ / adrenalin) with your parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation) and it gently starts the releasing of endorphins – your body’s natural ‘feel good’ hormones. - Think of 3 things you feel grateful for.
It doesn’t have to be ‘big’ or ‘serious’ – whatever comes to mind. Think of one at a time, pausing on each one for at least 20 seconds, allowing yourself to fully experience a sense of gratitude – an inner ‘thank you’ – for whatever it is.
If you’re stuck for inspiration, how about starting with the fact that you’re alive, you’re breathing and you’re able to somehow read this message? - Thank yourself.
Thank yourself for taking the time to practice gratitude today. And make a date with yourself to do it again tomorrow. - Release the practice.
Let go of the practice. There’s no need to analyse, critique, judge or tell yourself stories. It will most likely feel different each day. And that’s ok. What matters is consistency – doing it as many days of the year as you can remember (hopefully these emails / the forum / the Facebook page will help with that!).
That’s it! Over the coming months we’ll be building on this fundamental exercise with gratitude techniques to take you through a life-changing journey, experiencing the Miracle Of Gratitude. But for this week, those five steps are all I’m asking you to do.
I’m curious: what do you find it easy to feel grateful for?
How about sharing via the special discussion thread on the forum?
